Princess Bliss

Bliss Masiarczyk of Grantsville has been appointed by Congressman Alan Mollohan to serve as a Royal Princess in the 70th Mountain State Forest Festival. She is the daughter of Frank Masiarczyk and Linda Camp.

Victor Kirby

Victor Kirby, 97, of Spencer, died Thursday, Sept. 21, 2006, at home. He was born in Calhoun County, the son of the late Rufus E. and Mary Adams Kirby. Services 10 a.m. Monday at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer. Burial in Eventide Cemetery.

Beulah Macel Bailey, 87, of Nicut, died Thursday, Sept. 21, 2006, at the home of her sister. Services will be Sunday, Sept. 24, 2006, at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, at 3:00 p.m Burial will be in Bailey Cemetery, Shock.
